Apologies (again)

Once again I have fallen irretrievably behind with this project, after losing two weeks to flu rapidly followed by a chest infection.  I have too many other things going on at the moment to catch up properly, so am putting the 365 Project on hold for the time being, possibly to be revived at some stage in the future.  Thanks to all my viewers so far, and I hope to be back again some time!

Technique undoubtedly helps make photography magical, but I prefer to work with atmosphere. I think that the obsession with technique is a male thing. Boy’s toys. They love playing… but once you’ve perfected something you have to start searching for a new toy. I would rather search for a new model or location.

Selenium is weird stuff. It makes the photograph permanent, but it kills the photographer.

A still photograph is called a still photograph because the picture doesn’t move, not because the objects in the picture are not in motion. The photographer’s mission, should he decide to accept it, is to capture motion with stillness.
